Now that Camila Cabello, 19, is a single lady in every sense after quitting Fifth Harmony Dec. 19, she might have a new man and a new collaborator all in the form of DNCE’s Cole Whittle, 34. She crossed paths with the bassist at the Dec. 17 93.3 FLZ FM’s Jingle Ball in Tampa, FL and Cole came away quite smitten! He posted a super cute photo to his Twitter account of his microphone pack with the message “Cole hearts Camila” written over masking tape. Awww…someone’s got a crush!
Camila saw the sweet tweet directed her way following day and responded back “u r the cutest,” followed by a ton of heart emoji’s. We’re absolutely loving this flirtation and what a better way to get her mind off of the drama of quitting Fifth Harmony than getting a little loved-up action from the mohawk rocking wildman!
Now that Camila is on her own and starting a solo career, we would be so totally down if she did a collaboration with DNCE. She appears to have had plans to break away from Fifth Harmony for quite some time, as the band released a shocking second statement late on Dec. 19, saying that they’d been begging her for months on end now for group meetings and even counseling in order to stay together and put out one more album. They claim she rebuffed them at every chance and that Camila’s manager informed the band in mid-November that their Dec. 18 Jingle Ball appearance in Miami would be her last day with 5H. True enough, once that performance was over the band dropped the news that Camila had quit.
