Here's What We Know About Deadpool 2

Fans just can't get enough of Deadpool. It was also a smashing success at the box office, featured a "killer" soundtrack, and of course, it also starred the devilishly handsome Ryan Reynolds. Need we say more? If you enjoyed the movie as much as we did, then you're in luck — because movie is getting a sequel! Although a release date hasn't been set in stone quite yet, we already have a handful of details about the upcoming project. 1 Ryan Reynolds Will Reprise His Role

Fox officially confirmed that Reynolds will be back as the Marvel antihero.

2 Tim Miller Is Directing

Miller will also be returning as the film's director, after directing the previous film.

3 Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick Are Returning as Screenwriters

Reese and Wernick, who wrote the first movie, will be working on the script for the sequel.

4 Cable "Might" Make an Appearance

If you stayed for the ending credits for Deadpool, you would have seen Deadpool teasing Cable's possible appearance in the next movie. Since we now know that the sequel is definitely happening, there is a good chance that Deadpool's buddy will be in it too!

5 The First Poster

OK, so it may not be the official poster for the sequel, but it certainly sent fans into overdrive when Reynolds teased a possible X-Men collaboration with this snap on Instagram.
